This is a pen and ink drawing of a desert. I just love drawing deserts! I can’t wait to have more time to post many more drawings. School and work have been keeping me busy. Hopefully many more to come in the coming weeks.
I just thought it would be cute to post a picture of a small owl, just before Christmas. We see so many owl decorations in the stores! When this owl doesn’t move, it’s very hard to notice in nature because its plumage resembles the bark of old trees.
This bird is called a lammergeier. It’s funny, it reminds me of jagermeister the way it’s spelled and pronounced. A more common name would be “bearded vulture”. Anyway, I just thought it was cute with his nice little beard, so here’s a portrait of the bird.
Man, this one is ugly… Well, some scientists say it is actually the most magnificent vulture because of the appendages on its brightly colored head and its highly contrasted black and white plumage, but whatever.
